Nice, but not as comfortable as I had hoped

"It's nice, but I'm very disappointed that while my head size is right in the middle of the recommended range for the size I purchased, it is quite tight. The way the helmet is secured to my head is quite different from my previous Lazer helmet, and that may be part of the problem. Otherwise it is a nice helmet."

This is a great helmet

"This is a great helmet w/ top-level protection, air flow & style. I also have owned 5 other Lazer helmets. The only downside to the Strada is that the retaining strap is quite thin relative to previous models, and unfortunately cracked after only 1. 5 yrs of normal use and no crashes. Fortunately I registered this helmet and got the 2 year warranty, which I just claimed at my local bike shop (Shimano Dealer). Am now waiting on delivery of the replacement after which I will update this review."

ScrollSys is Trash

"10/10 in the looks department but the Scrollsys System is absolutely garbage. Helmet feels loose on my head despite tightening it all the way and dropping the adjustment slot to the widest setting. I have little faith in the helmet staying put in a crash. For comparison I own a Jackal with the traditional adjustment system and it feels far more secure than this one."

"I like the way this helmet fits compared to the mips style from others. I have a handful of rides with it and it was comfortable and it doesn’t creep into my line of sight. The adjustment mechanism is different but seems to work ok. Wish this was offered in hi viz yellow."

Uncomfortable and broke quickly

"ordered a medium based on the size chart, but it does not seem to be shaped well for my head. It leaves an annoying line on my forehead after use. It might just be too small, but it is loose on my head when the adjustment system is loosened, and I measured my head and chose a medium based the size chart. (my previous helmet from another brand was also a medium). However, the real problem is the "ScrollSys fit system" broke less than 2. 5 months after purchase while i was tightening it down after putting on the helmet (one of the thinest plastic connections snapped, photo included). According to the warranty page, I have to ship in the helmet in "via an INSURED, TRACEABLE carrier" to even find out if they would replace it. . . which is not an expense i want to incur for them to say no. Smaller note: it bothered me that the logo began peeling off the helmet right away. Photo of the peeling logo is Nov 11, and I ordered the helmet on Oct 27. I had my previous helmet (not lazer) 4 years and replaced it only because it had expired. I ordered from lazer because I wanted a cute color (not black!) and they had good safety ratings, but I regret it."

Is the Lazer Strada Kineticore for oval shaped heads, or is it for round shaped heads? I got a normal oval shaped head, not the long oval.: The Strada Kineticore is designed for an oval fit.
Good afternoon my head is measuring 56 1/2 cm what size helmet would you recommend?: Hello Wayne, over 56cm you would be a Medium. A medium can adjust down to 55cm and up to a 59cm. This gives you ample room to dial in your fit.
I just received my Strada KC helmet. It came with four small, oval shaped Velcro pieces. Where do they go what are they used for?: Hello Coy, Those are additional attachment points. You can use them to customize the placement of the pads within the helmet for your comfort.
How thick is the styrofoam core of this helmet?: Measuring at the bottom rim edge: about 1 in. (25mm) on the L-R sides; about 1.25 in. (31.75mm) on the front, and about 1.5 in. (38.1mm) on the back. Average thickness on the top is about 1.25 in. (31.75mm).
