Lacking Comfort

"The suspension system of this model employs an adjustable gripper device which applies pressure at the back of the head. Made of a stiff plastic as compared to other Lazer models this helmet becomes uncomfortable, it hurts, on rides over an hour. The tension must be rolled right off making the fit too loose."

Good all-arounder

"Good all around helmet. Have always worn Giro, but found their mid-market prices were getting a bit crazy, so figured i'd try this. No major complaints. The ScrollSys takes a bit of getting used to and i don't find it as easy as the RocLoc on Giro helmets, but that's probably partially due to the sizing i chose (see below). I wear a M in Giro. I used the size guide (measured 23"/57cm) and was right at the tight end of a M or loose end of a L. Ordered a L given i use a cap/headband for early/late season out here. It's on the big when riding w/o anything else; M would have probably been better, but no complaints. Would call it true to size using the size chart. Tl;Dr: good helmet. Nice ventilation. Works well with glasses. ScrollSys takes some getting used to, and as the size guide recommends, if you're between sizes or at the high end of one size band, stick to the smaller size."

"Reasonably priced. The fit feels snug. There is some discomfort after 120min but that just needs time for the head to get used to a newer helmet on long rides. The adjuster is very east to swipe and holds tension well."

Great helmet, good value

"The helmet feels like it rides a bit high on my head when I cinch it up tight enough, but the feeling goes away as I ride. The new roller system is fantastic. I like it a lot better than the old one, and the on-the-fly adjustment was one of the big reasons I stuck with Lazer. I’ve always needed a bit of adjustability during cyclocross races and rides on hot days."

Rock solid

"I originally bought my Strada kineticore as I liked the price and it had the 5 star safety rating. Let me tell you it truly deserves that rating. I unfortunately had a crash in the summer that sent me over my bars and the helmet did exactly what it was supposed to! No concussion and other than some road rash and bruising I was good to go. I included some pics of the old helmet below. I was so impressed I used the crash replacement plan to get another one. If safety is a priority this is a great option"
