Shipping Questions +

Who do you use for shipping?

We use CANPAR for domestic ground shipments, FED EX for expedited domestic ground shipments and UPS for US DC based shipments

What are your shipping rates?

Orders above $150.00 before tax qualify for free ground freight. Shipping charges on orders below $150.00 before tax are: Ground freight $19.99 (shipment times vary by region). Expedited Freight $39.99 (shipment times vary by region)

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Delivery times can vary depending on the shipping method selected at checkout and the destination of your package. Also, please be aware that weather, shipping holidays, peak shipping seasons and incorrect shipping information can delay your shipment.

Do you offer international shipping?

Unfortunately, we do not ship to international addresses. Our site does not accept international cards and we are unable to accommodate each country’s customs and duties requirements.

When will my order ship?

Orders placed before noon Mountain Time on business days (non-holiday Mondays through Fridays) will ship on the same day. Orders placed after noon Mountain Time on a business day, or on a weekend, will ship the following business day.

Where will my order ship from?

We have three distribution centers, one in Peterborough, Canada, one in California and one in South Carolina. Your order will fulfill from the closest distribution center to you that has the item you ordered.

I entered the wrong shipping address, can you update it?

Orders move into our warehouse soon after you click “submit order” and we cannot update them, nor cancel, once they are on the floor. If you catch the error right away, log into your my account and cancel your order. Unfortunately, we are unable to modify any order information once the order is submitted.

Can you ship to a PO Box or APO/FPO address?

Unfortunately, we are unable to ship to PO boxes or APO/FPO addresses, due to carrier limitations.

Can my order be shipped to a Freight Forwarding service?

We do not ship to Freight Forwarders under any circumstances.

How do I track my order?

You will be emailed the tracking number shortly after your order ships. To track your package, follow the tracking link in your email or input your tracking number into the carrier's website.

If I send my package as a gift, will the recipient receive the invoice?

No. You order will only contain a packing list that does not contain the price. All invoicing information is sent your email address.

Ordering Questions +

I'm getting an address error while checking out.

All billing addresses must be in Canada. The billing address you enter must match the address your bank has on file; we send this information to your bank for verification, and we cannot override their response if it does not match. If you feel you are entering your address correctly, please call the 1-800 number on the back of your card, ask for either the Fraud or Authorizations Department and have them verify what your address is on file. If you have more than one address on file (most common with PO Boxes and after moving to a new home) one of those addresses will likely need to be deleted from the bank’s system. Please use the exact address they provide for your billing address.

I see a charge on my credit card, but didn't receive an order confirmation email.

Did you have any errors while checking out? If so, the charge you are seeing is most likely a pending charge from the failed checkout attempt and will disappear within 1-3 business days. If you are unsure if the charge is pending, please email us at info@lazersport.ca. In your email, please include the name on the card and the date of the attempted transaction.

When do you charge my order?

We charge your CC/or other payment method when your order is shipped

I would like to use a VISA/MASTERCARDEX gift card, but the site will not accept it.

If you want to use Visa/MasterCardrd gift card on the site, you will need to register it with Visa/MasterCard. This is necessary because our site will check for the AVS address and postal code.

Please also be sure to retain the gift card in the case of a return. We credit the card used for payment, so if you throw away the gift card, you will have problems accessing the refunded amount from your return.

What are my payment options?

We accept Visa and Mastercard.

Do you offer gift cards?

No. We do not offer gift cards at this time.

Is my personal credit card information safe on your website?

Yes. We've taken several steps to ensure all information received from our online visitors is secure from unauthorized access and use. All transactions are completed on a secure server. In secure mode, your computer and our server send data back and forth in an encrypted format.

How do I change or cancel an order?

Orders move into our warehouse soon after you click “submit order” and we cannot update them, nor cancel, once they are on the floor. If you realize you want to cancel or modify an order immediately after placing it, log into your my account and cancel your order. Unfortunately, we are unable to modify any order information once the order is submitted.

Do you price match other retailers?

No. We do not price match other retailers.

Product Questions +

How do I select the correct size helmet?

Selecting the correct size Lazer helmet is very easy! Just measure the circumference of your head 2cm above your eyebrows (about the width of a finger). Once you have your head circumference just use our size guide (link to online size guide page) to select the correct size based on the model helmet you are interested in. If you are between sizes, we recommend that you select the smaller size helmet as it is more likely to fit correctly.

How do I know my helmet fits properly?

The fit of the helmet is determined by the helmet retention system. On a Lazer helmet the retention system is adjusted by using the dial on the top surface of the helmet or by the dial at the back of the fit system. So long as you can turn the dial at least a half a rotation before the retention system begins to tighten around your head then your helmet is not too small. If there is still at least a full rotation in the dial before the retention system tightens around your head, then the helmet is not too big.

Once the helmet fit system is adjusted it may seem like there is movement between the fit system and the outer shell of the helmet. This is normal. The helmet shell should be allowed to move in the event of an impact in order to dissipate the energy of the impact.

How often should a helmet be replaced?

A helmet should be replaced when it is no longer in a condition to be able to do its primary job, helping keeping its owner safe in the event on an impact. Inspect your helmet regularly for the following:

  • Outer polycarbonate shell is cracked or separating from helmet foam
  • Helmet foam is dented, compressed or otherwise damaged
  • Straps are fraying
  • Buckle or fit system is cracked, broken or no longer operating correctly
  • Fit system is no longer fixed to the helmet shell
  • On MIPS equipped helmets, any of the tabs holding the MIPS system in place are no longer fixed to the helmet shell
  • All of the above are signs that the helmet should be replaced as soon as possible.
How do I care for my helmet?

If soiled remove the helmet pads and rinse the outside and inside of the helmet wit cool water. Allow to air dry away from direct sunlight. Soak pads in cool water for a few minutes in order to remove salt and sweat, allow to air dry. Rinse salt and sweat accumulation of the helmet straps regularly to assure proper operation and adjustment. Replacement pads are available for Lazer helmets and can be found on this website.

I bought your product used, do I still qualify for the warranty?

No. Unfortunately, the product warranty is only valid for the original purchaser.

    How does the warranty policy work?

    Any Lazer helmet determined by Lazer Sport to be non-conformance in workmanship or materials within one year from the date of original purchase will be replaced or repaired, at the discretion of Lazer Sport, free of charge. If you have questions regarding the warranty coverage of your helmet, email us at info@lazersport.ca, call us at 1-800-460-3070, or refer to your helmet owner's manual.

    How long does the warranty process take?

    We try to process and ship warranties within 3-4 business days of receipt. However, repairs can take several weeks and the correct inventory is not always immediately available. If you would like to check the status of an item that you sent in for warranty service, please email us at info@lazersport.ca. In your email, please include your name, street address, a description of the item, and the tracking number for your shipment.

    What is your return policy?
    • New and unused merchandise may be returned with the original tags attached & all original packaging up to 30 days from the date of purchase for a refund. A credit will be issued to the original credit card for the item(s) amount, less shipping and handling.
    • Please fill out the return form that came with your shipment and enclose it with your packing slip.
    • If you need a copy of the return form, you can download it here.
    • Return authorization is not necessary, and we do not issue RA#s for consumer returns.
    • We can only accept returns for purchases made through Lazersport.com.
    What is your exchange policy?

    We are currently unable to accommodate exchanges. If you need a different item, color, or size, please place a new order and follow the directions for returning unwanted items for a refund.

    What do I do if I receive a non-conformance or incorrect item?

    If you receive any non-conformance or incorrect items, please contact us at info@lazersport.ca prior to sending these items back.

    How do I ship my return?

    Please ship your return with a carrier that provides tracking and insurance. We cannot be responsible for items that do not arrive at our facility.

    How long does it take to process the return?

    Returns enter our system within 48 hours of receipt and will be finalized within four business days after arrival. Email notification is sent upon the finalization of your return, not when your items are received at the facility. Please note that it will take most banks 3-6 business days for the credit to be reflected in your available balance after you receive your email notification.
