To determine correct size, measure head circumference 2.5cm above eyebrows. Note: Head circumference measurements falling between two sizes should consider ordering the smaller size helmet. Helmet should sit level on the head at eyebrow level. Straps should sit close on the cheek and behind the ear. Buckle should allow opening of mouth while not being too loose.

The Lazer Z1 KinetiCore is an impressive lightweight helmet, and without sacrificing protection, leaves rivals in the shade on the scales.

This is the only helmet I've tested that seriously has me considering riding without an aero helmet this summer. If you already prefer a light and airy helmet, this is one of the best.

I am sure I’ll be grabbing this helmet often for road, gravel, and CX-style mountain biking.

It soon became a go-to for warm-weather riding thanks to 31 strategically placed vents that make it feel particularly light and airy.

"One of the primary reasons that I purchased the Z1 Kineticore was that it rated highly in the Virginia Tech helmet ratings. I have ridden with it several times thus far and I find it light, comfortable, and fits my head well. The rear adjuster secures the helmet good after putting it on. Yes, it would be a bit better if the fore and aft straps could adjust. Although I find that the center of the V of the straps does fall under the center of my ears, as they should. The Polygiene lining wicks sweat well and doesn't smell. I recommend this helmet."

Great update to the Z1

"Coming from a previous model of this it is different. . . but good! Has a nicer compression/crumple style foam nubs inside which makes much more sense. Like the lack of plastic on the chin steap, fits to face and clean looking. The adjustability is great and fits my large and long head well. The new basket fits and feels better. I also dont get a pressure hot spot on top of head like i did with 2021 or so model. The aeroshell goes on and off easier also."

Great helmet. . . except no strap adjustability

"I've had several Lazer helmets (O2, Genesis, Blade, etc) over the years and always been pleased. This one doesn't have adjustability of the straps to tighten/reposition them near the ears/jaw area. Maybe my head is shaped weird, but this puts the chin strap too far back and more onto the neck just under the chin. Really uncomfortable and leaves a loose strap over the ear/jar area."

How do i unsnap the chin strap: I reach on the left side of my chin and grasp the buckle to find the recessed buttons and these fore finger and thumb and squeeze it should come out! I do wish it had the magnetic connection that the mountain bike helmets have
