Use less to give riders more. The Vento was designed around this singular concept, using a reduced frontal surface area coupled with smart airflow management to maximize aero efficiency and cooling power. So, you use less energy to go fast and stay cool, especially during high output efforts like sprints. Inside, the EPS liner with KinetiCore™ controlled crumple zones, helps to manage impact energies. And thanks to obsessive attention to detail, it weighs just 290g (size M) without skimping on features or comfort.

  • Built for Speed: the Vento KinetiCore was designed with a reduced frontal surface area for superb performance in a “sprint position” at a 15-degree angle
  • Lighter by Design: Vento is 24% lighter and uses 90g less plastic than its predecessor, and is built more sustainably with a reduced carbon footprint without any compromise in performance
  • The Power of Cool: cleverly-positioned ventilation channels increase airflow through the helmet to enhance cooling, elevate your comfort and performance
  • Precise Fit Comfort: Advanced ScrollSys fit system cradles the skull while allowing intuitive, quick adjustments for a precise, stable fit
  • Full Size Range: S 52 – 56cm, M 55 – 59cm, L 58 – 62cm

Vento KinetiCore

Reduced profile, engineered airflow and 5-Star rating

Go the Extra Mile

Reduced frontal surface area maximizes aero efficiency when sprinting and the advanced ventilation system improves cooling. An easy-fit ScrollSys belt tailors the helmet to your head while a silicone docking system secures eyewear when not in use.

Protection You Can Count On

Push your limits with total confidence. Better by design, KinetiCore is the world’s first responsibly designed and fully Integrated Rotational Impact Protection technology that’s built into the helmet rather than added on afterwards.

Fits great, good value, not top aero

"Really wanted the top Aero helmet in a Specialized Evade III but they were sold out in the colors I wanted and sizing was a bit tight anyways. Tried a Giro Eclipse and the medium was way too tight and large was too big. Thus I stumbled across the Vento Kineticore. One, the helmet fits perfectly and I have a slightly larger head at near 23", but the medium fits great with room for a thin cap. The medium is sleek looking without looking bulbous. There are lots of colorways and for an aero helmet it does breathe pretty well. Some people have complained about docking glasses, but I found it was easy, secure, and didn't bend them too much. I believe the Lazer is 3. 37W slower than an Evade and 1. 89w slower than the Eclipse, but still . 83W faster than a Kask Elemento and 1. 4W faster than an ABUS Gamechanger 2. 0, two other popular aero helmets. I can't remark on the safety of the helmets, knock on wood, but I will say I still get that same bobblehead movement with Kineticore like MIPS. The scroll wheel look cool, but I would prefer a dial. It's nice there is a dock for an optional light. Not the lightest helmet, but far from heavy either. I liked the helmet so much I have two, one in white and one in pure white. At the end of the day, Vento's are decently priced especially when on sale and the most important thing it fits and looks great, so a few watts left on the table isn't a massive deal."

This helmet possibly saved my life

"I bought this through the crash replacement program. I walked away from an altercation with a motor vehicle with. A broken wrist and absolutely no head or neck injury. Worth every penny."

Jeffrey P. (5/5)

Incredibly light

"I’ve been using a Z1 for over a decade, but decided now to make a change for something slightly lighter. I have been very happy with my Z1, and it did protect me extremely well on a number of occasions. The Vento is just as comfortable, but so incredibly light. It almost feels like you’re wearing nothing at all. Ventilation seems good, I can tell there’s quite a bit of cold airflow."

Q&A

After a ride, is it OK to run the helmet through water, or say, take it into the shower to clean? Should the padding be removed instead for washing? If so, what about the chin strap.
Hello Chuck, It is ok to take the helmet into the shower. Cleaning the helmet really only requires water and mild soap to remove sweat or sunscreen. Shower won't hurt it. For the straps, many will use mild soap in a bowl of water that the helmet can sit on so the straps can soak. Then rinse and let air dry. Either way works.
I purchased your G1 Mips about 18 months ago and now I'm interested in the VENTO KINETICORE. I noticed on your bike store partners that inside the helmet front panels where you put your glasses have the lower part (looks like dimples) that is all white white but your picture shows a combination black in the front and white in the back. Are there two different models?
Hello Tony, the White VENTO Kineticore helmet only comes in one combination, white with black insert.
What are the 4 small oval padded stickers for that come w/the Vento Kineticore for? Thanks!
Hello Brandon, Thank you for asking. The extra stickers are used to relocate the pads or add extra padding to the customize fit and comfort of the helmet.
Why did you route the straps at the front of the helmet from the interior where they anchor out into the side of the helmet so that when they protrude they are away from the face? This puts them out in the wind and mine flap and vibrate when I’m going fast.
Thank you for your message. The position of the strap is determined during the design process for each helmet. While the reduced amount of foam used in Lazer KinetiCore technology delivers a lighter weight and better ventilated helmet, it does affect where the strap anchor point is positioned. The anchor point requires a sufficient amount of foam surrounding it in order to assure that the strap is secure and that the helmet passes certification testing. To reduce airflow affecting the strap it may be necessary to adjust the tension on both the front and rear straps as well as the buckle position on the straps in order to avoid excess strap material between the anchor point and the strap buckle. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
